The girls were sleeping... I was bored... It was HOT outside... I didn't have any other subjects besides Harley... So I set up a tripod and played around with the timer on my camera... This is me. Things I learned... 10 seconds isn't that long of a time. I like how my brown wall looks. I also like my red furniture. It's hard to take pictures of yourself. The camera likes to focus on things other that what I want it to when the timer is set. I took a lot of pictures, most of them ended up blurry. I'm learning!
Well, here she is, Miss Peyton with Glasses. I think she is pretty stinking cute. She LOVES them! I am so glad!! When I told her they were in and we got to go get them, she started jumping up and down and screaming! Then when we got to the office, she was so excited. The nurse asked her what she thought, and she said, "Pretty!!" We immediately went to surprise Daddy at the firehouse. He has not seen her in any glasses yet since he couldn't go shopping with us. He thought she was pretty cute. The other guys at the house were good to her too, they all made a big deal out of it and told her she was looking good! They were going to come in and say "Where is Peyton Mae?" Then she was going to jump out and say "Here I am!!" She of course would have her glasses behind her back, so...
Things have changed significantly since we bought the land in August! Here we are the first day. And the view from the same spot these days! We got the trusses up last weekend. Here is the crane setting up to get it all started. The first one going up! It was quite the process. Everyone worked really hard. I felt horrible since they didn't even stop for lunch. Matt said no stopping! We are paying the crane guy by the hour!! Sorry guys! JD hammering away. I think he may never help us again. He had bruises up and down his forearms and "hammer hand" by the time we were done! Doug and Kevin came over as well. I'm not sure about their bruises or hands! And Bubba helped too! Matt getting the truss in line. My ground crew taking a short break. They always get mad when you take pictures of them standing around. So, of course, I got yelled at! Proving they were working... Have I mentioned I think my husband is pretty cute when he is working. Well, he is. Even if he ...
