Snow Days

Well, I am convinced snow days are the devil.
Kids should be in school in the winter.
There is a gym there.
A gym where they can run around and release energy.
There are other people there to entertain.
My kids are tired of me.
They are tired of our house and our toys.
Kalee wants the toys that are in storage.
I just want my house so I can unpack all that's in storage!!

I'm not stir crazy, I like being able to be home for a few days with nothing to do.
Except there is always something to do...
I tried calling the dentist office for me and the girls yesterday.
All three of us need appointments.
They weren't open.
I tried calling the eye doctor.
Peyton needs an appointment.
They weren't open.
Our laundry has turned into a mountain...you can't see the laundry basket anymore.
There was no power...so no laundry could be done.
Peyton has 4 pairs of pants left.
Two that go with outfits she won't try on because "they don't fit right."
Yes, I said she hasn't ever tried them on.
Frustrating?
Majorly.
The other two pairs are also unacceptable choices.
Too bad, doll...that's all there is.
So we are wearing unacceptable pink pants, with the promise that I will wash some of her pants today and she will have more choices tomorrow.
Matt is wearing dirty long johns.
I brought laundry to Mandy's today.
It is currently washing...well, the first load...I may have about 5!
And that's not all the dirty clothes we have!

Oh well, I will get caught up sometime...
Sometime...

Snow days also mean no work done on the house.
UGH!
I need constant progress.
Only 3 more months until Baby Hinds is here.
Just three short months!
That's how I am choosing to look at it.
Since the past 6 months have been the longest ever.
Three more months to choose a name...Though Adam thinks Adam is the best name and "I can use it."
Three more months to find the baby bedding in the "mountain of boxes" that is our belongings and pick a paint color, design scheme for the baby's room.
Three more months to be ready...period.
I know we have all we need...it's just in storage...
I think the only things I want to get are a new, good monitor and a baby bag.
I have the baby bag picked out.
Just need to order it!
Need to do some research on monitors.
I want a good one that won't crackle and be annoying...therefore keeping me up at night!!
And since that's the only thing we really need, I am willing to spend some extra money on it!

Ok, not sure how the topic of snow days brought me to what I wanted for the baby, but there we have it.
My prego brain is all over the place!
