The poop saga continues

I just have few quick things to say this morning to keep Lori entertained!! ~~~~~~ Kalee had her worst blow out yet this morning. Worst because it required both mommy and Kalee Jo to have baths and new outfits. It was nasty. Very much so! I am going with Kari's advice and buying her some Pro Active! I'll keep you updated because I know how riveted you all are by the stories of my daughters bodily functions. Without them, I don't know that I would have much to talk about. ~~~~~~ I need to rant about two things this morning also...First, we are finally (after two years of living in this house) painting our living room! Thank God because it is ugly and was starting to drive me crazy. But anyway, we had this ugly paneling crap on our stairway and entryway walls. So Matt took it all down (YAY!). Then he was filling in around the doors with foam stuff. He made a bit of a mess. And instead of going into the laundry room which is literally two steps away and getting a r...

It's been another one of those days...

We have had a day here at the Hinds house. Kalee is being a whiner and Peyton is trying my patience! Kalee just doesn't feel good. She is on this medicine that is making her poop 25 times a day and they are all runny. I know, a lot of info, but I am totally grossed out by it. I think I have said before that poop is one of those horrible parenting responsibilities. I checked her diaper today by pulling out the back to look down in there. It was full...up past her crack and I stuck my finger right in it. Good times. She is also getting more teeth, so I am sure that is contributing to the poop factor. It also makes her have a horribly runny nose. So she is annoyed by me constantly wiping it. But I just can't stand to have her eat her snot. It is another thing that totally grosses me out. Especially when she sneezes and it gushes out all over her face. YUCK!! ~~~~~~ Peyton is just seeing what she can get away with today. I am convinced that she gets this from her Da...

30 Random Things

I got this sent to me on Facebook today so I thought I would share it on blogger. I like these survey things. I think it is fun to learn something new about your friends and family. I especially love when my mom and dad play along and answer the questions on these things. I even found out that Dad played the guitar when he was in the service. Who knew? So here are 30 random things about me that you might not have known. It started out as 25 things, but I had more... ~~~~~~ 1. I love my family more than anything. 2. I think it's awesome that I have 4 sisters, well really 5 because I count Tara Jo as one. It's funny to me when people are shocked by this fact. 3. I think my girls are the most beautiful things on this earth. 4. I love to plan. I wish I could get married every year because it was so fun to plan my wedding! 5. I believe in ghosts. 6. I am afraid of elevators. Especially when there are a lot of people in there with me. I am afraid it will fall. 7. We...

Peyton is Matt's kid

So Peyton and Matt were just playing catch. She popped a squat and let out a loud toot. Then laughed hysterically. She then went into the hallway and started lifting her leg to toot. She said that's how daddy does it. Then she yelled Time to Poop! And ran into the bathroom. It is times like these that I take no credit for this child. She is ALL MATT! It is scary.

We are boring this week

Thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes. I had a pretty good birthday. As good as you can have when you go to a visitation and have to stand outside in the snow for an hour to get in. It was crazy. I would say without a doubt that Cody was well loved by many people. He will definitely be missed. ~~~~~~ Really not much had been going on here. I had an aha! moment this morning. Peyton looked at me and said "Momma, your belly looks like there is a baby in it." I guess I need to do some more sit ups. Like I said about the Daddy's big head comment, she is 3 and usually tells the truth. She has babies on her mind I guess. We are finally going to all go see Lily on Saturday. Hopefully it won't snow anymore! Peyton watched John and Kate Plus 8 at Grandma's yesterday and Grandma asked her if she wanted 8 brothers and sisters like that. 8 Kalee Jo's? Peyton said "no, not 8 Kalee's, 8 Peyton's!!!" It's a little crazy to think we could have had 3...

Happy Birthday to me!

I woke up this morning to Peyton asking for cartoons. She just can't find them. Which is crazy because any other time of the day, she knows how to work the TV, DVD, CD, MP3, dishwasher, vacuum...everything. She just has some kind of block at 7 in the morning I guess. So I didn't get to sleep in as I had hoped! Kalee woke up shortly after and walked out in her footy pajamas. She had them unzipped so she could pat her belly. She loves her belly! ~~~~~~ After I reminded Peyton that it was my birthday, she ran to find me the present that Grandma had sent. She whispered that it was scrap booking stuff, but I didn't know! So she and Kalee helped me open. They were both very proud of all the things in the bag! I loved it all! They even made me the best birthday cards! Thanks Grandma!! Matt and I went to see Gran Torino last night. It was pretty good. Then we went out to eat at Los Agaves. I had a yummy strawberry margarita...be jealous Meg, be very jealous! I gu...

I've been busy...

I've been a little busy the last few days (with the new babe in the family and all), so I feel like I have neglected my blog. So I may have a lot to say tonight!! ~~~~~~ Nan and Pop went off to Mexico! Lucky Ducks! I am so completely jealous. Especially since it was a whopping 20 degrees here today. I think it's like 80 or something there. They better remember that my Birthday is Monday and bring back good presents ( have I mentioned that I enjoy jewelry?)! Though I know that I am mearly their 4th (wonderful, beautiful, loving...) daughter, and not a Grandchild...or even a brand new granddaughter, I hope I still rate high enough on their list to at least get a sea shell or something! You see, something I have realized (and NOT quite accepted yet) is that the minute any of us had children, we became invisible. You walk in the door, and the kids get Hello's, kisses, hugs; while I try to walk in carrying 4 blankets, 1 diaper bag, my purse, 2 sippy cups, usually a baby...
